STUDENT'S COMMITMENT:
- Arrive at each class ready to learn
- Timely notification when absent
- Discipline during classes and rehearsals
- Participation in UAC performances
- Respect for themselves, educators, and fellow participants
- Maintain good grades in school or college
- Mentorship amongst fellow participants
PARENTS' COMMITMENT
- Consistent participation of student - never using the UAC as punishment tool (Students are allowed to miss only one class per week)
- Support of the "We are all stars" / "There are no stars" UAC philosophy
- Protection of the UAC amateur status - Students receive no payment for performances - Neither perform with groups receiving money. All monies return to UAC programming.
- Class attendance whenever possible as support/chaperon &/or studentTimely payment of class fees ($35/student or $50/family per month payable by the 15th of each month.
